Terminax and the Champion of Darkness

All things must come to an end. That is what one particularly powerful entity named Terminax had decreed since time immemorial. He may have actually been the most evil of entities because of his sinister intention to eliminate all life for the most selfish reason ever. Today we will talk about why it is imperative that the conflict between the light and the darkness be resolved definitively and in a timely manner.

The reason that Terminax wanted to destroy everything and everyone in all realities is because evil is inherently incapable of true happiness. As self-loathing is one of the defining characteristics of evil, Terminax decided that one day everything would end so that no one can enjoy life if he and his faction cannot.

To say that Terminax was powerful would be the biggest understatement ever. However, he was not beyond the power of two individuals. As exceedingly powerful as Terminax was, he could not simply overpower the prefect champion of light or the perfect champion of darkness. The reason being that each of them was destined to become perfect and then fight each other.

The fact of the matter is that the conflict between the light and the dark is something that had to be resolved. Unbeknownst to either champion, they were two sides of the same coin that worked towards the same goal for their respective side. The word destiny may be thrown around a lot in our world, but in the spirit plane it is actually a substantive term.

Both the champion of light and the champion of darkness went through similar yet obviously different processes to become perfect. One might think of supernatural perfection as something that a spirit achieves just because, but one would be wrong. The process of attaining perfection is actually an arduous process that only someone with infallible destiny could achieve, and only after literally countless eons of trying.

Terminax was technically powerful enough to kill either champion before each of them became perfect, but destiny would not allow for such a thing to happen. That is why the countless eons long process proceeded without any outside interruption whatsoever. The champion of darkness achieved perfection long before the champion of light, but they operated so far away from one another that they never crossed paths.

Though altogether different, each champion had to create a mundane world teeming with antagonistic life and then live on it for centuries. The planet of darkness was inhabited by monsters. The dark champion became one in the physical sense and lived in a constant struggle of survival of the fittest for hundreds of years. At some point thereafter, he became the perfect champion of darkness because perfection requires sacrifice.

At one point Terminax came face to face with the dark champion and was promptly chased off. Countless eons later he encountered the champion of light right before he achieved perfection and was promptly brought low. His terrible power was consumed multiple times until he stayed dead. When the only halo in all of eternity appeared above the champion of light’s head at some point thereafter, it was a sign that he had finally become perfect.

As was previously stated, the two were destined to become perfect and then clash. Not long after the manifestation of the champion’s halo, Diaggron the eviscerator became aware of the existence of the reputed apex predator of eternity that went by the name of Dominus Rex. Thus the conflict became imminent.

As soon as the perfect champion of darkness appeared before the the archangel of death, he was swiftly vanquished and his power was consumed. Our hero writhed in agony all day and all night until the dark energy was forcibly turned to light and subsequently assimilated into the king of the seraphim’s soul. After the grueling ordeal, he became fully perfect and thus capable of defeating all challengers forevermore. It is without a doubt, the greatest story ever told.

Feel free to spread the word.
